                     Good Character
The traits that describe you are a key to what you value.
Values are the building blocks for character.
                     Values
Adults set example for the kids , and are also taught by setting standards for the children's behavior
                    Character
-Self control is the degree which a person regulates his or her behavior.
-Good Character is a person that has self control and acts with responsible values.
-Delaying gratification is a voluntary postponing an immediate reward in order to complete a task before enjoying a reward.
          What to know about good character?
-Compassion When you are sensitive to the needs, wants, and emotions of other, and you are forgiving.
-Good citizenship you demonstrate good citizenship by obeying laws and rules, and showing respect for others.
-Fairness you are fair with others and you abide the rules.
-Respect you show respect to others as you want to be treated.
            Values that are the building blocks for good character
-Responsibility when you do what you promise and are acceptable for your decisions.
-Trustworthiness when you are dependable, loyal, and honest.
-Honesty when you refuse to lie, steal, or mislead anyone.
          How can you demonstrate good character in your daily life?
Having a positive attitude
          How to develop self-respect

   *good chericter is your use of control to act responsible values .
  *If you behave in ways that contridct responsible values
   * Throughout your life, you can change your thoughts and actions to help you have good character
* Control the belief statement that motivate you.
 -You may have good character and act in ways that reflect responsibility values, but still lack of self-respect
-The key to self-respect is controlling the belief statements that play in your mind.
-Adults can help you change in a positive way.

*Be friends to yourself by enjoying activities by yourself.
-When you are by yourself you have time to think and see through your feelings and thoughts.
*Write your feelings in a journal.
-When you write about yourself you examine what is happening in your life.
-Reviewing what you write it helps you understand your life.
*Make spending time with members of your family or mentor a priority
-Care about your family like you want them to care about you.
*Let other people know helps you feel special.
-Do not take for granted that others know how you feel.

*Make a list of your responsible actions and review the list often
