10 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOURSELF-ESTEEM



Choose actions that promote self-respect.
-You have to treat yourself in ways that show that you have self-respect
-Other people will notice your behavior and will have respect to you.            
*Action that promotes Self-respect
-Being well-groomed is one of the first indicators of self-respect.
*Make a list of your responsible actions and review the list often
-Knowing that your actions are responsible helps keep you from getting down on yourself.
*Be friends to yourself by enjoying activities by yourself.
-When you are by yourself you have time to think and see through your feelings and thoughts.
*Write your feelings in a journal.
-When you write about yourself you examine what is happening in your life.
-Reviewing what you write it helps you understand your life.
*Make spending time with members of your family or mentor a priority
-Care about your family like you want them to care about you.
*Let other people know helps you feel special.
-Do not take for granted that others know how you feel.
